When to contact us
This page is for you if mould is already visible on a wall, ceiling or bathroom in Barcelona and you want to know what to do with the surface. Common cases:
- dark marks or blackening on a wall
- mould on a bathroom ceiling, above the shower or in corners
- paint that has bubbled or peeled next to a mark
- a mark that came back after cleaning or painting
- a cold corner, a wall behind furniture or near a window
You do not need to know in advance whether it is mould, condensation or damp. Two or three photos are usually enough to see where to start.
Send 3 photos on WhatsApp
The most useful things are:
- A wide shot of the room — light, ceiling, furniture nearby.
- A close-up of the mark — no flash, in focus.
- A few words — when it appeared, and whether you have cleaned or painted it.
That is usually enough to say whether mould removal fits, whether the wall needs repair first, or whether another option makes more sense. If the photos are unclear, we will say so. It is better to clarify than to over-promise.
How the work usually goes
We start with what is visible on the surface. After that it may involve:
- treating mould on a wall, ceiling or in a bathroom
- repair if paint has peeled or the surface is damaged
- preparation and painting when the base is ready
Not every case goes through all three steps. A small mark on sound paint is one thing. A bathroom ceiling that has darkened and is shedding paint is another. We suggest work that matches the real condition — not more, not less.
WhatsApp and a visit in Barcelona
We look at photos first — free, no obligation. You can write in English. We usually reply quickly; on a job it may take up to 2–3 hours.
If the photos show a visit is needed, a look in Barcelona is free. On site it is easier to judge peeling paint, recurring marks or an awkward ceiling before anything is covered over.
What not to do yet
Painting straight over a dark mark usually hides the problem for a while and can damage the base. Home remedies used without thinking it through can ruin paint. If you have already tried something — that is fine: mention it in your first message so we understand the wall’s condition.
What we do not promise
We do not promise mould will never return. We do not name species, talk about toxicity, quote product brands or give a price without seeing the case. If a photo does not show what you are asking about, we will say so plainly.
